When you think of bum bags, fashion might not be the first thing that pops into your head.
But for Emily Bitkow, the bum bag was an obvious solution to her being out on a run, walk or trip to the shops and not having anywhere to put the bare essentials such as her keys and wallet - she just needed to make it stylish.Β
Here, the 29-year-old entrepreneur and VIVRAΒ bum bag designer from Brisbane speaks to FEMAIL about her unique and uniquely stylish bum bags.
Since she launched as a business last year, athletes and fashion lovers have been going crazy for Ms Bitkow's products.

According to Ms Bitkow, who previously designed digitally printed shorts for festival-goers, her foray into bum bags was aimed at women like herself:
'I always struggled to find places to put my things on a run,' the 29-year-old told Daily Mail Australia.
Β
'I found myself stuffing cash down my bra or into my pants or something.'
And so, when the 29-year-old's previous label finished up, she decided she had another product in her - a bum bag:
'I wanted to make something that was more fashionable than a normal bumbag, but better than an armband and more functional,' she said.
The result is the VIVRA range of magnetic belts, which attach easilyΒ to the waistband of any activewear or leisure garment and snap together via the power of magnets.
'It's taken a bit of trial and error to get the belts to where they are today, but I love them now,' Ms Bitkow said.

While I've tried to keep it as an activewear accessory, I am hoping to also branch out into leather and embellished bumbags and bum bags for women at festivals,' Ms Bitkow said
Taking her cues from what's around on the catwalks, Ms Bitkow told FEMAIL that 'I really try to keep up with current trends'
Where the VIVRA range differs from most bum bags is that they are incredibly stylish.
Taking her cues from what's around on the catwalks, Ms Bitkow told FEMAIL that 'I really try to keep up with current trends.
'Camouflage is really in right now and we have a camouflage bum bag. While I've tried to keep it as an activewear accessory, I am hoping to also branch out into leather and embellished bumbags and bum bags for women at festivals.'
The 29-year-old explained that no matter what you do with the bum bags - run, carry children or walk - they won't move:
'If you're a mum on the run, a marathon runner or just someone who likes to walk hands free, the bum bags will not ride up,' she said.

The CEO also shared her business advice for other budding businesswomen - which was namely, get started
'I think people get really overwhelmed with the where do I start, but you should just start anywhere. Register a business name, get an ABN and this will lead you to the rest of it,' she said
Ms Bitkow's advice for budding businesswomen is to just get started:
'I think people get really overwhelmed with the where do I start, but you should just start anywhere. Register a business name, get an ABN and this will lead you to the rest of it.'
Ms Bitkow also said it's important to avoid looking at the intimidating big picture. Instead, it's better to sweat the small stuff.
'Focus on small things you can do everyday, and slowly build from there,' she said.
'If every day you can say you've done something towards your business, then that's good.'
