Mater Chicks in Pink Fun Run
On Sunday 4 March 2018 we gathered some of our closest girlfriends and took part in the RACQ International Women’s Day Fun Run. What an amazing day to take part in an event where we were able to contribute towards raising over $675,000 for the Mater Foundation! The Mater Foundation is all about supporting women and in particular, women with breast cancer. We participated at a personal capacity last year and because we had so much fun we signed up this year as a corporate gifts-in-kind partner.
Here are our highlights from the day
Brisbane turned on the sunshine for us and we were enthused by women in pink uniting for a common cause.
Our besties came and looked the part
We made friends along the way - we love meeting new amazing people!
Did we mention Brisbane turned on the sunshine for us?
We soldiered on though and we kept on jogging/running for 5kms. We cheered each other on and motivated each other as the sun kept on shining!
The hunger kicked in but we decided to continue on as we had set personal goals to complete the fun run without making any pit stops... no matter how tempting they may be!
The hands-free and belt-free movement kept it going! We really did get to enjoy the fun run without the need to carry our phones in our hands or hide our cards somewhere uncomfortable! It was perfect for our big day out and about!
As a gifts-in-kind partner of the Mater Fun Run we supported the event by providing some bonus VIVRAs to some lucky participants.
Whether you’re going out for a light jog, participating in a marathon or just taking the dog for a walk, you can always do it comfortably, hands-free and belt-free with VIVRA.
